Ford,F150,5.4l,4x4,super-crew,2002,with Voliant cold-air intake. !00,000 miles claim?... maybe... but then, I work in a steelmill! Original filter did seven years, that's not shabby! This is a replacement. They breathe free for a long time; I'll buy another if I, or the truck, don't retire first.

On the website Volant does not make the powercore for my truck. i found one that almost the same as the one that comes with and ordered it. i put it on and didnt do that much in power or gas mileage. after about 1000 miles of driving with it it improved the gas milege a lot more and im very happy with it. i recomend it.

The replacement was straight forward. No problems encountered. I did however install a pre-filter on the powercore since it cannot be cleaned. After about 4 days.....the mileage began to climb. I now get about 3 MPG MORE than with a standard Volant filter. The Hemi engine breathes better and has more power which can be really felt. I will get a replacement in another 100,000 miles.
