Great product! Very sturdy and quality build. Car seems to run slightly better, but every little piece counts! Great customer service. Will definitely look to purchase from here again!

Quick delivery and well packaged (I hate seeing OEM boxes destroyed on my doorstep and this one had an out box filled with bubble wrap). I took out my 4 year old K&N drop-in filter (oiled), cleaned my air box, and placed this filter right in it's place. Fit snuggly and really seems like a quality product that could last a while (my first thought was "must be made in the U.S.").

The filter is awesome. I only had it in for 2 weeks and we'll see if it improves on the mpg for gas. Now I don't have to clean out and oil the K & N every year.

04 Subaru STi: It does not flow as good as having no filter in. No noticeable intake noise either. At least it will be the last air filter you buy - just wash it. Does seem to spool a bit faster and low end power up a little. One major benefit for those who run puddles - won't stop flowing after it gets wet - a paper filter will. If you're looking for a big increase in flow, its going to take more than this.

I purchased a 2004 Infiniti G35 Sport Coupe earlier in November and began researching some quick & easy add ons. The air filter was obviously at the top of the list, there's nothing worse than having a dirty restrictive paper air filter choking the engine out of fresh air. This site, along with other G35 member sites lead me to buy the AFE over a K&N. I've had K&N's in my previous 4 vehicles, but I like the fact that this free-flo filter requires no oil after cleaning. After the fast and painless install, there was a slight but noticeable increase of the throttle response. This filter might flow a little bit less than a gauze filter, but it will keep everything behind the filter *cleaner*. My experience with the K&N's is the more you clean them, the gauze separates more, the holes let in more air, but dirt too. The AFE seems as though it will be better at keeping dirt out with their filter media design, so I conclude that it's a better overall filter in the long run.

I've been a fan of K&N oiled filters for years to give that little extra boost to throttle response and mpg's. However, I disliked having to clean and re-oil the media as it almost always ended up too wet after I applied the oil. This aFe filter has been a revelation! It fit perfectly in my QX4's air box and gave the confidence-inspiring off the line improvement I was looking for, while the maintenance will be far easier as it performs it's duties. Haven't done a comparison on the gas savings yet, but with the familiar performance to my previous high quality filters I expect a 1-2 mpg improvement on the highway. That's saying a lot when my Infinity only gets 19 or so now!

its quick, easy, no oil mess and just as good as ant other high perf. air filter. U will not notice a gain, but of course there is maybe 4 hp increase for a drop in. Its on my 350z
