Have always used oil type performance filters in the past and wanted a filter without the hassle and mess of having to oil. The AEM Dryflow filter fits that bill very nicely. Its a better performer than the stock paper filter and the engine sounds better.

I changed from an oil type (K&N) to the new AEM DryFlow Air Filter. The main reason for the change was to get away from mess of using oil to recharge after cleaning. The dry flow filter allows me to clean this filter and then dry it with compressed air and install. No waiting for the oil to settle into the filter like the K&N type. It's fit was perfect and went right in the vehicle without any mods, as stated by some.

I've had my oem filter for almost 10 months. I was averaging 26 mpg with combined city and highway. The AEM Dry Filter was very easy to install and it fit like a glove. I've been using the AEM Dry Air Filter for a month now and I average 28 mpg. My vehicle feels and runs smoother during normal driving and hard acceleration especially when it reaches the maximum rpm. As far noise, it's similar to the oem filter.
