I may have noticed slight performance gains and marginal mpg improvements according to the SUV's trip computer. For the price, any gain is worthwile. Where this really pays dividends is not having to replace the filter every 10-15k miles. After you've had to swap it once, you'll understand. Getting to the filter in the Trailblazer is no easy task. If you're a Do It Yourselfer, get this and only worry about removing to cleaning it ever 50k miles instead of changing filters every 10-15k miles.
