"The main difference that I can discern with changing the air filter on my 2007 Ford Sport Trac II with the 4.6L V8 is that I don't get the bogged-down acceleration after idling for a few minutes at a stoplight. The truck does seem to skidaddle a little quicker, but I don't have a dyno to test any true results. As far as mileage improvement goes, having been practicing the art of hyper-mileaging just after swapping the factory filter for the K&N, I can't tell you a direct improvement in mileage from the filter, itself, but I am averaging 22-26 mpg, now, when I used to get 15.5-- but again, that's practicing hyper-mileage driving..." —Oahu Ty S from Katy, TX bought a K&N Air Filters for a 2007 Ford Explorer.
