Mercedes-Benz S-Class Air Filters

I bought these for 2007 Mercedes S600. They were a direct fit application. Already oiled and ready to go. Just remove old ones and drop in new ones. Easy as 1,2,3

Seems to be a good filter, haven't had it long enough to say how good the filtration is. A little loose rubber here and there on the filter frame, easy to remove.

For a part that will likely never be seen by anyone but me, it's an eye catching filter. The red fabric and metal mesh look great. There's a reassuring weight to it compared to the OEM paper filter. The fit was perfect on my Tacoma 4.0. At this point, it's too early to determine if it is providing any performance benefits, but it seems to me that the engine runs just a tiny bit smoother and is slightly more responsive. It'll pay for itself every time I clean it instead of replacing it.
