Volvo 145
Air Filters

Volvo 145 Air Filters

Add years to your classic station wagon by installing Volvo 145 air filters under the hood. Our 145 performance filters consist of pleated and oiled cotton gauze sandwiched between aluminum wire mesh. The Volvo 145 custom prefilter puts an extra layer of defense against dirt, moisture and road debris normally sucked up by your air filter.
Once your filters turn grungy, the 145 air filter cleaning kit provides everything you need to clean and oil your filter, so it's ready to use again (about every 30,000-50,000 miles). The Volvo K&N filters are street legal in all 50 states. The internal combustion engine in your Volvo 145 is really just a big, complex air pump. Air gets sucked in, mixed with fuel, burned and sent back out in the form of exhaust. But since air around motorways tends to be dusty, dirty, debris-laden, there needs to be a filtration device to stop all that engine killing crud before it makes its way to your Volvo 145s engine's internals. Enter, the car air filter. So whether you find yourself on the OEM side or the performance side of the debate, we can all agree on one thing, your Volvo 145s engine needs an air filter. And now that you know what an air filter does, go out and start dropping your new-found knowledge!
