I installed this at 38,000 miles on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 with the 5.3 Liter. I can't say the fuel mileage is better in town, seems to be little or no change but on the highway, I am getting approximately 1 to 1.5 MPG more. I can say with 100% certainty that the Throttle response has improved. I can only attribute this to the increase of air flow into the combustion chamber.

Easy install, following the instructions it took about 30 minutes to install. The spacer is a tight fit into the throat of the intake so make sure the bolt holes align before completely inserting it into the intake. The tightening of the bolts require precise torque. Use a calibrated torque wrench and start at 40 in/lbs and work up to specifications. Consider the +/- 3 to 4 lbs difference on your wrench as this might lead to over torque and stripping intake manifold.

The part came missing a bolt and the warehouse was out of stock so AutoAnything gave me a partial refund to get the missing bolt from my local hardware. It took a couple weeks, but I am happy with end result. Thank you. As for the spacer, I haven't notice any mpg increase, but throttle response is slightly better.
