Description:
A bag of oats and a couple carrots might get some ponies excited, but your mighty Mustang needs something a little more “nutritious." With the BBK Mass Air Meter in the feed bag, your street pony gets all the power-producing air and fuel it needs to run wild. And, with up to 15 horsepower on tap, wild is just the beginning!

BBK casts the mass air meter from 356 aluminum for strength, and CNC machines it to exacting specifications. Next, each MAF sensor is finished with your choice of black powder or polished aluminum finishes and fitted with a cutting edge, electronically-calibrated mass air flow sensor module. It's this strict adherence to quality design that ensures a highly-accurate air/fuel ratio and the best possible performance potential.

Depending on your particular pony's set up, the BBK mass air flow meter comes in two different calibrations. One for standard OEM air boxes and one for cold air kits sporting fender-mounted filters. And best yet, BBK backs your Mass Air Meter with a 1-year warranty.

BBK 86mm Mass Air Meter w/ Cold Air Intake

Wow, an immediate impact after installing the BBK 86mm Mass Air Meter! I had previously installed the BBK 78mm Throttle Body along w/ a K&N 57 Series Air Intake kit. I did previously see a noticeable performance gain - BUT after that install the 4.6L had noticeable hesitation & bog. However, once I installed this BBK 86mm Mass Air Meter the engine immediately ran better without any bog nor hesitation! Replacing the Mass Air Meter is must when installing an aftermarket throttle body!!

Fixed Issues

Had installed a complete motor from a weekend drag car. I had the car tuned, but it was running very rich. Figured out that the maf wasn't calibrated to the 24lbs injectors. Installed this and cleared the fuel issue right up.

Awesome

I had a used C&L 73mm and OEM meter calibrated for 24lb injectors. As soon as I made the change, the car started up stronger, idled smoother, just all around ran better. I love it.

laid back

the bbk mass air sensor put the throttle back into the car,it puts you back in the seat when you step on the gas peddle, the car feels alot faster now,it works great with a cold air kit and a bigger throttle body, awsome product.
