I'm extremely pleased with this Volant cold air intake, the acceleration is a lot smoother in my truck now and I feel the gas mileage has improved. It was easy to install and looks great.

I got to say I am really impressed with the increase in hp and sound (richer engine tone) after the install of the volant intake. Everything was great except the directions if I didn't know what I was doing I would have been lost up $hit creek without a paddle

This is a good intake. It looks and sounds good. My one gripe is the instructions are terrible. The company needs to provide better instructions other than 1 sheet of paper and a photo.

Volant makes probably one of the best CAI in the market but they fall short with providing good instructions to install. They also do not include all the hardware needed for installation. As one of the most expensive CAI in the market these things should be included and not have to be purchased at a hardware store when you are doing the install. Was very frustrating. As far as performance the Volant is great. The sound and greater throttle response was great. The look of the Volant is second to none. I think Volant makes a great product but should give the customer everything that is needed to install the unit. For over $300 and a great product the instructions should be there and the hardware as well.

i installed the volant intake on my 04 nissan frontier. The install was a bit of a pain, the kit was missing a few nuts and bolts, and the grommet to fit the air temp sensor was not really the right size, but i made everything work. I think there is still definitley a few things that volant needs to perfect, in order to justify selling this product for $256. All in all though, the truck sounds great and the midrange power has definitley improved.

Installation was pretty easy and I am also satisfied with its appearance, quality and the fitting. My only complaint is that for the price of this intake, it can at least come with a cover that is sealed better.

great cai for instant ups in hp and mpg's looks awesome sounds awesome! instalation is simple, but the instructions suck...bad. a little pricey but the box design protects from mud and hydro lock. great buy if you have the money and you want the best.

This thing works! It has improved my gas mileage considerably. I love the 'throaty' sound my exhaust makes. I love that it has a complete box around the filter with a lid. I was leary about other intakes that used the hood of the vehicle as the lid. Now when I get out in the deep stuff I don't have to worry about my fan kicking up water onto my filter. Joel
