the speed of shipping really surprised me, and the instructions were a piece of cake, even for an old retired air force M/sgt. took about half an hour and it works. I do0n't know how much on fuel milage but the impression ratio(the sound) is great..

Very quite, not much if any louder than stock system. I already had a K&N filter in my stock filter box and have not really noticed much difference, maybe a little on upper end RPM's. Was fairley easy to install but had some difficulty gitting the air tube connected, it just didn't line up exactly right. Also didn't like the "S" shape of it. No code lights, had them on a K&N system on a Colorado. Over all I'm a little dissapointed in the performance and I did expect a little roar at WOT although I was hoping it wouldn't sound like the K&N's, too loud. I think I'll order the cold air intake vent next and see if that improves the performance any.

extremely simple to install, required only simple hand tools and self-explanatory installation. The box itself works well, notice a boost in power especially around 2500 and up RPMs. Overall truck seems to ride easier when cruising.

I received the intake on time as promised. Overall the look of the intake is sweet really brightens up the engine bay. Not to bad on istall, took me about 45 minutes, had some trouble with the bolts going in. Ok as far as performance I can feel a little bit more power at higher rpms, and when it shifts its alot smoother. Not too much sound from the intake seeing is its an enclosed box. Ok gas mileage, I keep my foot in the gas more than i should, therefore only got 14.5 mpg. When I added the intake and drove a full tank taking it easy and getting on it at times i got 16.7 mpg, so there is improvement. I think i can squeeze another 1-1.5 mpg if i drive normal and keep my foot out of it.

One of my buddies had one put into his truck and swore that it was a really good intake for trucks. I saw it and i had to have it because of the closed box, it made my engine look so much better!! When i press the gas i fly. I also have a Flowmaster 40 exhuast. Great power added, and the gas has been saved, about 1-3 MPG depending how I drive.

I own a 2005 Silverado 4.3 v6. I work hard with this truck and with the volant intake I get much more horsepower and the sound is great. I would recommend this to anyone. It was well worth the money and I am upset I did not get it sooner. Anyone that bought the 4.3 should definately buy the intake for more power.
