High quality intake. It was a little tricky to get all the parts lined up perfectly. Overall it took about a half hour to install on my 1999 Chevy Tahoe. I was pleasantly surprised that you could notice a difference. The trucks throttle response is faster and it pulls harder. Also you can hear a little more rumble under the hood.

well first off, great quailty and works smoothly once all done. so the directions was ok. turned out i had to cut 1 or 2 inches off the air duct coupler to the air box, because it was too long and also had to cut off some rubber sleeve the long one. it was 6 inches long.way too long. but the biggest part i had was the throttle body cover.after some time to get it to seal up without any leaks. works like charm though. i felt the difference in the truck once i hammered down. over all love it!!

mounting Bolts for air box missing, and bolts for throttle body way too short, had to buy my own did not clear throttle position sensor, had too grind a notch to clear bonnet. Space where air duct goes into air box, no way to seal out hot air from engine.

Volant makes the GMC C2500 engine breath with much more ease and throttle response is noticeable upon takeoff. you are able to feel the difference from stock intake versus the aftermarket ones such as volant. It also seems to have gain some mpg's which show to be promising because the car is constantly in motion. overall, a good bang for the money i spent and will most def recommend for other buyers.

definately noticed difference in horespower and tourque, only problem was with installation, had a professional do it, but my hood hits the intake box when closing, it still closes just have to push a little harder, other than that it looks great and performs excellent, very happy. thanks A.A

The intructions, certainly did not make for ease for proper alignments and connections. Did finnally get in touch with tech support @ Volant.com as mentioned few modifications were neccessary. Look is Great Hope for increase of mileage as of now still questionable. Good throttle response.

Overall kit unit is nice but the install takes a bit of tweaking. I had to go buy and modify 3 fender washers to hold the main tube onto the throttle body, the enclosed washers are to small and were pulling thru the slots on the main tube. Also I had to make and add a 2nd. bracket for the Airbox because it was flopping around with just the one point mounting. It seems to give the truck more power then the stock filter. It is quiet for normal driving but has a nice sound when you put the pedal down. I think it will do everything I was hoping it would. The extra power will come in handy for towing my new trailer. I can recomend this unit.

I needed something to feed my truck more air into it and Volant was the way to go. Truck responds alot faster and now I feel like I get alot more out of my 5.7 engine. This intake did help alot as now u can feel a way beter response from the take off n on the roll. Just wish it would make a little more noise as I can't tell a difference over the exhaust
