Don't like the cheap looking air box cover they now send you, not the nice one that is in the pictures. Volant said the nice cover they no longer make when I called them. Other then that it seems like its good quality tho how it mounts to to the throttle body it think could be way better and the bolts are to short. Of all the after market fresh air intakes I think the Volant is still the best one though.

the intake looks & performs great but was not very easy to install. plus all the hardware did NOT come with it so i had to go to lowes to buy screws to install it. but all that said its well worth it. it performs much better than K&N (i know this because i replaced the full K&N with the volant) volant should have thought up a better design for the connection to the Throttle Body for more ease of installation

The tubes that came were not long enough and I had to modify them and it will not work with a throttle body spacer I had to use the original intake tubing. the filter was very tough to get on and it probably took me over three hours to put in. but it does add better throttle response and I gained about one mile to the gallon

The intake installed fairly easily in my 1999 Tahoe. The space between the air box and the throtle body was almost the exact length of the provided tubing and fitment sleeves, leaving only mm's to clamp in place. Truck sounds 'throatier' now and deffinitely has more throttle response.
