It seems there were quite a few negative comments. this had me concerned. Especially having the CEL show up. However, I found the install to be quite easy, maybe 30 min. the CAI iis fairy quiet. I have a TRD exhaust and there was not an increase in noise. the performance of my truck was noticeable on acceleration. It accelerates more smoothly, accelerates faster, and to date, the mileage seems about the same. The appearance under the hood is clean and uncluttered.

I bought the cold air intake to give my taco a little extra punch. The Volant system did not disappoint and provided that extra boost off the line. A big complaint for me is the fit of everything in the kit doesn't just bolt on and requires some massaging to make fit.

first 1 hole out of 3 where the box is supposed to go was not aligned. Also where the mass sensor goes, it is not precise, the plastic is not perfect. Also i got the scoop, the are 3 holes that are supposed to match, they didn't match. Did it improve some performance, yes it did. did it improve the sound? yes it did

I went with the intake and RAM scoop combo. Very easy to install. Minimal increase in intake noise. Very noticeable throttle response. Average roughly 350 miles per tank and gaining an additional 1 to 2 miles per gallon. Would definitely recommend product.
