My vehicle is over 10 yrs. old and the pick up and performance is a significant improvement. Tech guy at dealership says it takes the onboard computer a little while to learn the new changes and should improve performance. Haven't had a chance to compare gas mileage yet.

This system was easy to install. My main motivation was gas mileage and not extra passing lane power. I have read reviews making claims of 2-4 mpg improvement. I found more like 1-2 mpg. If gas makes it back to $4/gallon it will pay for itself.

I installed this with a Jet Flo mass airflow sensor & a BBK 85mm throttle body. Since I did this all at once, I cannot comment on just the Airaid performance addition, but all three of these things togather made a HUGE difference. My 2001 Silverado Z71 extended cab short box is a rocket now! I also have MSD ignition, Flowmasgter exhaust, shift kit, Corvette servos in the tranny, Superchips Flashpaq, Iridium spark plugs. My 2001 5.3 will outrun a 2008 Dodge Hemi truck, my friend has one & has been beat by me! Next is a cam & headers. AutoAnything has great service & prices!

Installed an airaid cold air intake system as well as throttle body spacer on wife's yukon xl. Really woke up that 5.3 liter v-8. In conjunction with a gibson cat back exhaust, loaded down the truck makes 18.5 miles per gallon at almost 75 mph on the highway. Would recommend to any gm owner.

This system was easy to install. It works great I installed it with the throttle body spacer. Together it works great. I pulled my boat last weekend and the power was unbelievable. I highly recommend the airraid system.
