Having used K&N and Afe before, I find that I vastly prefer the Airaid for my 08 Charger 5.7L. Not only does it flow a lot more air than both the K&N and the Afe (the Synthaflow does 1,300 CFM I believe), but the build quality is also better imo. I've noticed a more responsive throttle, a deeper sound and of course, more power compared to my previous CAI..

The ease of installing the Airaid system was remarkable. All parts came with the unit and the step-by-step instructions were spot on. I do not have any feedback about performance/milage increase but suspect that it will increase. I can state that the transmission shifts faster, especially when downshifing, the throttle response is crisper. The power band feels higher and over a longer RPM range. It is as if the engine came alive, what it should be. Very nice.

Installation was simple, easy and fast. Took about 30 minutes. Noticed a faster throttle response and a change in the sound. Havent noticed a change in mpg though. Still too early to tell I guess. Great intake and well worth the money. Also looks great under the hood.
