I am very happy with the 77 Series air intake kit. The only thing I didn`t like is the threads in the intake tube need to be cleaned out or you will cross thread the plastic nipple and plug, plus there needs to be a fender plug with the kit to plug the empty hole that is left. I have more H.P. and some better gas mileage and a more throatier sound. I am glad it is U.S.A. made !

Installation was easy for myself, but if you have trouble turning a wrench.. Get a buddy to help you. Intake makes a hissing sound heard from inside the truck. That's just the air going through the intake. Has a good growl to the engine now. You can feel a small difference in horsepower. Only down side is that the plugs for unused parts on intake are plastic. Would be better if it was metal. Thanks auto anything.com for a great deal. Almsot forgot, gas mileage went up a mile more per gallon I

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4.7L. My truck has 115K miles. Before I got my K&N I got 13.6 miles per gallon. That translates to 340 miles per 25 gal tank. Now I get 14.8 miles per gallon. That translates to 370 miles per 25 gal tank. That is a 12.5% increase in MPG. 12.5% less cash on gas. Now on top of having gas mileage increase I am getting a much quicker throttle response, my truck accelerates a little faster and stays cooler. Trade-Offs: Whilsles at 0-1.5 RPMS

the direction on the internet was alot differant then what I really had to do. none of the monting piont were there as the dirctions said, I had to do a little moding to mount it in the right way. and even then the 2011 did not have the sterdy mounting piont that I would feel comfortable with. over all a good looking, well proforming system, just was not easy to mount as advertised (need to have a little know how and it wont be THAT bad)

They say metal but its not its a crappy silver painted plastic however it looks great and works great just be very carful when installing it cus the parys are also plastickand break VERY easy......i have not noticed a huge power difference either but you can deffently hear the air flow better so gas milage will probly be better depending on how you drive.
