12' 2.7 Tacoma. Here is my opinion. HP Increase, K&N guaranteed it with dyno research. (K&N.com) Fuel mileage increase, I can't confirm that . Depends on your driving style. Looks way better than the factory intake. Has a nice throatie tone at high rpm without the annoying resonating drone at cruising speeds . As always , a happy AutoAnything customer.

1st: Look of engine compartment changed from cheap-looking, plastic tackiness to a hardcore, hells-yeah, bad*ss look. Especially since the horrid-looking intake plenum is no longer sitting atop the engine. 2nd: More torque is instantly noticeable in the lower gears when accelerating. More HP ins't really gained until around 3500 RPM and above. Feels like the engine is no longer suffocating. 3rd: Install was simple with only hand tools. 4th: Couldn't beat price that was here @ AutoAnything. A+

The installation was easy and quick with only one problem. The kit was supposed to contain two M4x7 mm bolts for the mass air sensor but the supplied bolts were 12 mm long and had to be cut to make it work. The finished installation looks great and together with the Magnaflow Cat back exhaust the pick-up and performance seem to be better!
