They need to make the connections to the intake tube in a little different position so you can roll the tube down more. Line up isn't the best but do-able. Sounds good. Can't tell if my wife Is saving fuel or noticed much of a performance difference.

After following procedure to reset the fuel learning curves and driving for a week I'm still getting some initial hesitation under hard acceleration. I've searched everywhere from vacuum leaks (none found) so I switched back to stock and all is now well. I'm thinking that the MAF meter dislikes the turbulence caused my the intake. oh well. When the intake was on it was quite loud, screaming at higher RPM's actually, which you may or may not like.

Intake was pretty easy to install . everything fit as described and works better than I expected. highly recommended for what it was made for. A must option for anymore performance and will do the exhaust as soon as it is shipped. Air intake to take it in exhaust to let it out. Both purchased thru Anything Auto.

AFter a year and a half of running a K&N air filter on my 2016 Explorer, I decide to step it up with the cold air intake. I was not disappointed. The vehicle is very civilized as long as you keep your foot out of it; it's almost as quiet as the OEM set up. But step on it and the engine roars to life! A noticeable amount of pull above 3000 RPM. The gas mileage didn't seem to suffer either as I'm getting roughly the same MPG as before (about 22.6 MPG)- as long I keep my foot out of it!

A fun project to get involved with.Right out of the box was easy to follow instructions for the installation. An aircraft mechanic by trade, it was an easy afternoon project without having to bend or pull any of the parts to fit. They just fell into place as the instructions described. There is a throaty sound coming from under the hood and you gonna have to push the engine a bit harder in order to get those extra horses and torque. No regrets.

Noticeable throttle response, sounds great. At 2000-3000 rpm has a deep throaty tone. Watch the installation instructions closely. Several steps should be done before. I had to go back on many and take shield off and add parts.

I have noticed the increase of horsepower and love the sound the vehicle makes now. It sounds so awesome! The increase of MPG hasn't really changed yet but will give it some more time, has only been installed for 3 1/2 weeks.
