2nd cai purchased love the look and sound. Major difference in throttle response. Truck feels more powerful. About 30 minutes to install

Installed on a new 2017 Tundra 5.7. Awesome growl when you hit the pedal. I was after more fuel mileage and after one week I'm getting 17.5 average. Hopefully it will get a little better as time goes on.

I did a ton of research and all of it suggested that the Tundra's stock cai was sufficient and that the K&N wouldn't do anything. I call BS. I noticed immediate horsepower gain and MPG gain. If it weren't for the awesome sound this thing makes and my need to mash the pedal I'm sure I would realize even better MPG. The installation was pretty straightforward although I needed a youtube video on top of the printed instructions. Fit was a little tight but all in all a great product.

I got this unit for my 2016 tundra and it far exceeded all of my expectations 1) got an increase in miles per tank 2) it looks great 3) it increased the throttle response 4) and the sound I get out of the TRD dual exhaust is outstanding. My only regret is that I should have gotten it sooner. Auto anything is true to their word so much so that I intend to check their website before anyone else.

A straight forward installation, the engine cover heat shield, o.e., doesn't exactly fit the same after the installation, even with the pin extension, the back pin won't engage the hole, but it stays in place. It really does add horse power and it's sound is awesome. I think the MPG has gone down abt. 2 mpg, on the highway I used to avg. 16.1 MPG, it's now 14.4 after a 260 mi. road trip, I'm still very pleased. We'll see.

I added this intake to get better gas mileage and add a more aggressive sound without having to mess with my exhaust... mission accomplished Install could've gone easier. The heat shield is somewhat of a pain and by far took the longest out of the whole install

Intake looks great under the hood. Installation took about an hour and a half Instructions were detailed and the pictures made it simple. It sounds normal at idle but when you push on it, the throaty v8 comes out. It doesn't seem any louder at cruising speed inside the cab. This just what I wanted. I love the sound. I cant say the mileage improved any but it seems to have a little more horsepower. For $240, you can't go wrong with this one.
