Installation no problem..good sound have not driven on open road just some short local runs, seems fine. I do notice when shutting down the engine the air pump seems to moan, but maybe a little time may ease..will see. Double checked all hoses, OK

The instructions should be in color. Hard to see a few of the installation areas and where to put brackets and bolts. It should also explain or show the new appearance of the engine compartment after installation. ie.. One of the plastic shrouds that covers half of the engine does not go back after installation leaving an unfinished look. The new sound is not evident unless you get on it. Overall a good looking product and the good quality is evident.

If you just bought a truck and you want added power, this is what you need. It says it only takes 90 minutes to install, but that's only if you are a mechanic. It will not save you on gas mileage, but it gives a little extra roar to your engine and the horsepower when you need it. LOVE IT!!!

This is my second Tacoma and second K&N. On my 2011 the instal was clean and simple. The 2014 intake system was a little confusing. The intake tube does not sit flush and clean but this does not effect performance. Moving the air pump around caused some more confusion and the wiring is at its limits for the new position. There is a noticeable increase in noise when you get on the gas hard. Despite all that, Im happy with the product.
