Overall the kit is great and easy to install. I agree with those who said the exploded diagram is what really helps understand what parts, washers, nuts & bolts go where. The throttle body attachment is a very tight like others have stated. I found that tightening both fasteners, tapping with a rubber mallet, re-tightening, tapping again got it on perfectly. The only complaint is that the heat shield is really flimsy and doesn't completely seal up to the fenderwell etc. good enough though

I bought this intake for my 98' jeep grand cherokee 5.9 limited and i couldn't have been happier with the outcome! Delivery was super fast and installation took a half hour, or less. You can hear the vehicle sucking in large amounts of air when you rev, it sounds extremely NASTY! Improves horsepower and gas mileage, cant go wrong! Its worth the price

terrible. since your review space is so limited i've contacted k&n directly. do not purchase this item unless they specify it fits your vehicle perfectly. otherwise you'll be left with an intake that allows seepage and unfortunate leaks and unwanted headaches.

I had to re drill the bottom holes, other wise by following the instructions it is a fairly easy upgrade. I notice an improvement in the performance and better throttle response. I still have not see any improvement in the gas mileage. It still have the same 14.6 MPG for a 5.2L it is about as good I am going to have. I had to install a screen wire on the bottom of the filter to prevent road debris. The new installation do not cover them.

tHIS AIR INTAKE LOOKS GREAT SOUND GRAET AND I NOTICED THE INCREASE IN ACCELERATION IMMEDIATELY . tHE CLEARENCE TO THE HOOD IS AN ISSUE AS IT HAS STARED RUBBING THE HEAT INSULATION OFF THE FIRST DAY. MAY HAVE TO NOTCH OUT A STIFFENER.WELL WORTH THE PRICE , FUEL INCREASE IS UNDETERMINED AS STILL ON THE PEDDLE TILL I GET USE TO THE NICE SOUND .
