I installed this filter in my 2001 Dodge Neon ES, which is definitely an underpowered car from the factory. After installing the kit, I noticed that there was a very noticeable increase in performance, both from stop and accelerating while trying to pass. The kit was not difficult to install, although it was necessary to bevel the top of the filter to get the Intake Air Sensor and connector for breather tube on, as the hole was a little to small stretch, even when lubricated with silicon grease. In the kit, one of the mounting braces doesn't mount to the frame of the car and the K&N air filter box at the same time (needs slight bending) The actual parts kit should have cost lest for what I got, although I got a great deal. However, I'm happy with the purchase.

I'm very happy with the performance improvement, especially in the throttle response. It took maybe 30 minutes to install just because I read the instructions, which I usually never do....just wanted to make sure it was done right. K&N products do cost more, but you get what you pay for. It looks great too.

I bought the K&N cold air intake for my Plymouth Neon. My car was already getting great gas mileage but I wanted to see what a cold air intake could do for my car. As soon as it was installed, I took it out for a test drive and immediately noticed a decrease in my RPMs. Also, the horsepower is impressive. I'm very, very pleased and would buy this product again.
