Air cleaner arrived next day after being ordered. In stalled it the next day. Everything fit well though I was a little dubious about the heat shield not being secured to the body. Job took about 40 minutes to finish, fired it up and it worked like a champ. There is little or no extra noise if driving normally but there is a good bark to it when the revs are aloud to run out to 3500-4000. Noticeable improvement in midrange torque and throttle response. Should have done many years ago.

Got a great deal from autoanything and received the package very fast. As always K&N makes great products that help unlock your car's potential. Took me about 2 hours to remove the stock intake and install the K&N. After test driving I noticed a slight increase in torque, about what I expected.

It could be better, I just don't know how. My truck is running so much better it is surely criminal! Better everything, throttle response, power, mileage...EVERYTHING. I have never seen such an improvement from a bolt on product in my life, and I have tried quite a few. Thanks K&N and Autoanything.

Better than I expected. I like this kit so much that now I'm thinking about Flowmasters & exhaust. If you have a Ranger, this should be your next investment. I really didn't think there was much I could do with a 3.0 but the results are well worth the money spent. Sounds good when I get in hard. I can actually feel the better pick up. I have only run one tank of gas through it, but the steel Rock Crawlers I put on it brought my gas mileage down a bit but the new intake seems to have brought it back up. It also looks good. The only negative thing I can say is, they put the K&N logo on the end of the filter wrap which cannot be seen when it is on the filter. I strongly recomend this for 3.0 & 4.0 Ranger owners.

Big difference in engine performance, when starting off in first gear it is much smoohter, more power and when I start shifting through the gears and get up 4000 RPM it sounds good too. Just need to add in an exhaust for even better performance.
