I have one on my 98 Silverado with many other mods. This one went on my 99 Mazda B2500. (same as a Ford Ranger)No other mods. It's always the first thing I change to get a little Mileage and Performance. It's a simple Mod with some noticeable driving benefits. No disappointments. No complaints.

I installed the K & B intake and filter myself with very few problems. The instructions were fairly easy to follow and in about an hour, we were done and test drove it. I was amazed at the increase in performance that I immediately noticed. The Ford Ranger seems like a new truck as it will accelerate quickly, seems to be a bit more powerful on the road and overall just sounds better. I would recommend this to anyone who is feeling like they are in an anemic little vehicle.

I had modified the stock air box on my Ranger to get more intake. Adding the K&N cold air intake was a good improvement. I also replaced the stock exhaust system. I see improvements in response, gas millage and overall torque for my little ford 2.5 four cylinder.

K&N did a great job with the instructions and it installed in about forty five minutes. I now have more throttle response and more high rpm horsepower that i can actually feel. autoanything did a great job of getting it shipped, i got it two days after ordering. I havent noticed better gas mileage mostly because i cant keep my foot out of the throttle but i would definitely recommend to anyone who wants better breathing and a nicer sound, people turn there heads when they hear the intake

Very easy to install!! i have never touched anything on my engine before and i was able to do this all by myself. The instructions were great, and there was a real picture for every step. This was the first mod i put into my truck and i deffinetly noticed a power gain. It also gives it a lower/louder sound. This K&N and an aftermarket muffler(i went with Flowmaster 40) are the perfect pair. Another thing i love about the filter is that it is reusable! Just clean it and oil it up and youre good to go, no more buying those floppy paper filters. If i ever get another truck, this will be the first thing i buy.
