this was the first performance upgrade i did to my car and i love it. The increase in power you can feel right away also the sound it makes is amazon. Even with todays prices in gas the mpg has increased just from this single upgrade

Good kit and generally easy to install. Download the PDF installation instructions from K&N, as the supplied pictures are weak. Cutting the washer off the radiator bolt allows that bolt to work. Otherwise you'll need to buy a longer one. The factory airbox rubber mounts broke off during disassembly. We made new ones using stainless washers and 1" x 1/4-20 bolts and wiper motor rubber mounts from the auto parts store - 2 needed. The car seems to run better. My 17 year old son is impressed. He helped with the install and did the test drive.

I bought this product having seen proven performance and better gas mileage in my previous vehicle. The car sounds mean when you give it the gas, but acts civilized when you are cruising - just how is should be. I was supposed to get about a boost of 17 bhp with this upgrade. I feel it and so does my wife, which is kinda rare that she notices changes to the car. the rubber breaks free a lot more easily now and off the line there is a noticeable difference. I've gained about 2 - 3 mpg with this upgrade, with brings me to 18 city and 22 hwy being fairly aggressive. If my wife drives it its more like 19, 24.

Great upgrade. I wish I did this years ago. The kit only took an hour and half to install with some drilling required(had to relocate the outside air temp. sensor to the new K&N) acceleration was the most obvious difference... way better, and the trans down shifts less when going up hills/ramps. The engine bay looks great and sound is great too with my dual exhaust, it no longer sounds like the car suffocating. I have noticed some increase in gas mileage, but I'm sure it will get better when I don't have to warm the car up iin single digit weather anymore

Took car out for a drive after installing cold air intake and immediately noticed how strong and cosistent the car accelerated through the gears. Was pleasantly surprised with the horsepower gain and would highly recommend this K&N cold air intake to anyone who wants quick and easy impressive H/P gain.
