I didn't know what to expect when I bought this product aside from hopefully more than 10hp but after taking forever to get my stock air filter system out, I installed the K&N system with ease and the directions hit the money. The grommet was a bit too small so that took a bit of time and TLC to get just right in the filter's pipe. Aside from that, pretty simple installation, the car has a bit of a growl now to it, and I love the sound of filter sucking in the air when I press the gas.

I've had the K&N CAI installed for about two weeks now. I am definitely getting more power available at all ranges; I don't redline the engine, so I don't know what it's like at the high range. However, I can say that the surge of energy (and sound) is pronounced to what I experienced before. I have 102K miles and the engine feels stronger than new. I think that I am getting about 10% better in mileage; can't tell for sure until after I stop using the a/c. In any case I am at least getting the same mileage with more power and the use of the a/c for what I got before without the a/c on. The installation was very clear; it's great that you can open the pdf file before you purchase. I guess that shows the company confidence in the product. My next step is the Borla exhaust.
