Expectid to be able to take the old air system out and just hook up the new k&n system and done. Sadly it was not that easy. The holes for the grommets were to small making the hole in the grommet to small for the air sensor. I had to open up the hole with a die grinder to get it to work. Also there id no hole for the air injection tube. Lucky i already had a 1-1/4 hole saw or i would of had to go buy that too. Sill love the product and the brand

This unit provides plenty of power and sounds great. installation took a bit but worth the pain. I have gained more fuel efficiency so that is a plus.

When I put this K&N on my vehicle, I definitely noticed a difference in power and sound. If you step on it, it will take you ! Overall, very happy with the product. My one complaint is that I have not seen an increase in mpg.

It sounds awesome with the Airaid throttle body spacer that I installed with my K&N FIPK Air Intake, the performance is really good! Thanks Autoanything.com

I bought this item with the idea I could return it if not satisfied.(I was wrong). If you install it, to try it, then it is not returnable. As for the Intake Kit, it sounds better at passing speeds, but as for as getting better gas mileage, does not work. I would return it if I could. The return policy on this site is one of the worst that I have ever gotten into. I have never heard of a return policy that would not let you try it, and if it does not work at stated, send it back. Thank You, NOT VERY HAPPY

The FIPK Air Intake, coupled with my throttle body spacer, has been a treat. The sound that the intake makes is addictive and the increased aceleration is extremely noticeable. Went on a trip to Miami and the highway mileage was 21.5 mpg (previous average mpg on highway was 18.8), and that in itself made the purchase worthwhile. Installation wasn't difficult, but the intake comes totally disassembled (I wasn't expecting that.)

I recently purchased a Travel Trailer. My 2002 Envoy 4.2 was pretty maxed out for towing. A friend told me about the K & N kit. I thought what the heck, try it. Boy was he right.I now have a big increase in Horsepower as well as an increase in Fuel economy. When running at or near the speed limit and it kicks in, it is like the Supercharger on my Grand Prix. Love it!!

I installed the Helix Power Tower to my throttle body first, drove around two days. Ehh, o.k. without the K+N cold air intake.Gained a little. Then the K+N intake ,and with both of them on my 2002 GMC Envoy what a big difference! Highly recommend to anyone. Easy bolt on power 30min.max. Sounds good too when you need to get around all the tourists.

I have been waiting for a good priced Cold Air Intake, and Auto Anything came through with the best price that I had seen. The product shipped with out any delays and was ready to be installed just days after the order was placed.
