I love the way this intake looks, sounds and performs. My goals in purchasing this product was to: keep my vehicle reasonably quiet, increase mpg and performance, K&N delivered! I can feel the performance boost and am averaging over 25 mpg with a good mix of city and highway driving. Installation had it's moments (getting bolt under ABS pump bracket) but overall, I am very satisfied.

This is an interesting project, I did it myself. It took about 90 minutes like the instruction said. Instructions and pictures should be larger, but I'm up and running. Trying to see what effect this will have on my car, looking for improvements in horse power and fuel economy. Wonder why car makers install this in the factory, go figure!!!! Great easy in purchasing this product and shipping work good als. Thanks, looking forward to doing business with yu in the furture.

Not only its appearance but its overall performance was well worth it. Throttle response improved while not producing excessive noise. I already had a TRD cat back muffler and I am thinking of adding a Y-pipe. Do you think this will work well with what I already have installed in the car? Thanks. Tony Ochoa

I have bought other intakes in the past and they were good, but the FIPK is awesome! It has a nice appearence, the piping is plastic, rather than aluminum, so it helps with the heat dissapation. The sound is good, it is not too loud, it doesn't even really come into full swing until ~4000 rpm. Overall, I am very pleased and would recommend it to anyone wanting to purchase an intake system.

Install was slightly more complex than advertised, involving a number of tools (ratchet, nut drivers, assorted screw drivers and wrenches, rubber mallet, foul language, neighbor's cat, kitchen sink) and removing / replacing some mounting bolts for my ABS block. That being said, with the instructions provided it really was no big deal, just more than this engineer is used to doing under the hood. This thing sounds like a beast at WOT and preliminary results seem to indicate an increase in gas mileage as well on my IS300. With all that and a CARB exemption to boot, what more could you want?

i just got my FIPK installed, i did it myself in about 30-45 minutes. The change in HP is unbelievable, and after don't forget to clean your MAF Sensor, it will make a definite increase also...im now thinking of buying one for my truck...
