This is a great product , an easy to install. There is a small trick when installing the tube between the turbo an air box which is before installing the air box should put the two screws in an tighten them down that connects the tube to the box. If you do that it makes it easier to install an you don't have to be double jointed to put the screws in.

All components complemented each other, but; there's a lack of room under the hood of this beast and my fumble fingers required that I alter the install sequence in order to complete the job. "Nuff said, job is complete and it looks great. Sound does not detract from operation; others complained of too much noise, while I found "no such thing"; if anything, it could be louder to give me a real turbo sense. Good product, but not as easy to install as the FIPK in my 2001 F150.

would be difficult to install for people with limited mechanical skill, and it's a bit pricy for what it is. You pay a premium for the K&N name and that CARB sticker. The warranty is good and Fitment isn't bad but the grommet for the CC breather is really tight on the supplied elbow, took quite a bit of effort to install the elbow in it.

Had to reengineer the installation as specified was impossible with normal human hands Had to change by loosing another bolt to lift the mount below the filter so the rubber mount be placed from the bottom and held This also helped as the two button head Allen screws are impossible to insert from the bottom as specified. Converted the two bolts two studs by replacing the spacer with a nut and assembling the button head screws and the now studs first. Easy to assemble with two nuts in housing

This item was harder to install than what I was told when I purchased it. The grommets were too tight to fit for the elbow and I had to modify it to make it fit. Instructions sheet could have been a little more clearer on some of the steps.
