I purchased this intake system for an increase in power but also wanted to see consistency with the fuel economy of my 2008 Jeep Liberty. The sound the items produced was nice and throaty but the fuel mileage decreased a lot. The installation direction were not clear when it came describing the hose that comes from the valve cover. It said to modify the hose but did not how to modify the hose. I have since reinstalled the original intake system.

I've only had this installed about a week now so I can;t say anything on MPG gains but noticed the increase in performance with the first test drive. A different vehicle indeed. The installation did not go as smoothly as anticipated but not bad overall. The only reason I waited this long to try it was because I was afraid it would void my lifetime power-train warranty. After talking to the service manager at my local dealership and he told me it it would not I ordered it. Try it, you'll like it

The installation was fairly easy and took between 1 - 1.5 hours. I've ran through two tanks of gas so far and gained 1.5 mpg. I could tell immediately a difference in acceleration. It's nothing insane but there is a very definite difference. Plus I haven't been laying off the gas pedal since I installed this and still got the increased mpg! Sounds better, more power and more mpg....how can you go wrong? This will pay for itself in less than a year.

Arrived quickly, free shipping and came with a free recharger kit. A bit time consuming to install if you have no experience with this. Recommend spending the extra $60 to have someone else do it :) Sounds great, gives the Jeep a little extra pep and looks great under the hood. Good purchase when coupled with some other performance parts.

So like a lot of folks I'm sure you ask why would you spend that much money on an air filter. Well After a lot of research I mean a lot. I went with K&N they are well known and post the HP gains. they also provide you a copy of the dyno run sheet with the kit. The kit comes with everything you need minus the tools. The materials are high quality and it went on without much of a hitch. As for performance it was beyond noticeable the acceleration increased ridiculously. Worth every penny.
