I recently purchased the K&N intake and i am very pleased with my results. Took me a little less then the posted 90 min installation time, and sounds awesome in my Ford Fusion. Before installation the AWD wheels would not spin starting from zero. First run after result the tires were squeaking. Adds much power and great sound.

K&N has always made quality products and this on is no different. Looks great, sounds great and best of all its improved my gas mileage by almost 2mpg. Love the product and would definatly buy it again. Only problem was installation, had a rough time getting it to fit beside my larger than stock after-market battery. But once all said and done I couldn't be happier.

I will say first of all I got a really good deal on this. I can definitely feel a difference in the performance of my 2009 Ford Fusion 3.0 with this installed, and it sounds fantastic at WOT (aggressive and throaty). At idle and normal driving it sounds like the stock intake. Now the minor complaints: The fittings that screw into the intake tube are plastic and will not screw in completely. On my vehicle, one fitting was unnecessary and I ended up using a brass fitting I had lying around and capping it off. The filter isolation box does not extend all the way to the fender, therefore not really isolating the filter from the hotter engine bay air. Also, the hole in the box does not completely close around the intake tube, even with the rubber stripping attached. Other than that it is a well designed kit and worth the investment, especially if you can get a good deal on it!
