There was a small intake pipe and Uch bigger systems cost the same. I don't think it should have been the same price as the larger systems. However, I love K&N and it added power along with my new cat back exhaust from magna flow.

Good quality in manufacturing. Very easy to install. Have already seen an increase in mpg, about 2 mpg. It is a bit louder than factory intake. Makes a swooshing noise.

2014 Ford Escape AWD, with 2.0 EcoBoost. I bought this mainly for increasing gas mileage, and it did. I get about 2 mpg better on the highway; 28 MPG now, instead of 26, at 73 mph cruise speed. It is a bit noisy when accelerating, mainly at partial throttle, when the waste gate is still shedding excess boost. The torque and HP increase is noticeable, too, but ONLY when running Premium gas. I drive a lot, 35,000 miles per year, so the price of this intake/filter will pay for itself in about 1 yr.

Looks good in the hole but not impressed by the fit. The push plugs that hold the frame to the car should be bigger. Also it is a lot louder than I thought it would be. Had other k&n intakes, but never had one that was this loud. Over all works as it should. More power and better mileage. Just little nuances that I have issue with.
