Installed in minutes with a screwdriver. My Corvette is a 2006 model. The instructions were vague when it came to installing the bar responsible for holding the filter in place. I cannot hear any noticeable difference and perhaps there is a bit more HP. I've read where there is around a 10 HP increase. Next, I'll put on a Corsa sport exhaust system. I've read good reviews on the Corsa.

after the ease of installation, I noticed right off a boost in performance. I own a C6 corvette and it's great on throttle response as it was before the K&N, but now it's a much stronger response, when I put my "foot" into it, I sure lit those tires up. Well worth it to me.

loosening the original intake tube was the most difficult part! I used a lite coat of dialectric grease on the silicone hoses to help the air intake tube slide on as well as helping the hose to slip onto the MAS. This made final tweekes and adjustments much easier. Very pleased with the results.

I was able to install the K & N 63 AirCharger Intake on my 2007 C6 corvette in 35 minutes. The sound is great and I believe performance has been enhanced (although I have not had the car on a dyno yet). THis was step 2 after installing a corsa sport exhaust with X pipe system. The car seems to breathe better now. I took a 4 hour trip (75% freeway) and got 27.5 MPG (not bad for a 400 hp v8).

The kit was reasonably easy to install with the exception of the rubber tubing connecting the filter assembly to the airflow tube. It was so tight that I literally had to stretch it on a mechanical stretcher in order to get it onto the two parts. The other tube fit fine and the assembly was straight forward. I would recommend this unit to anyone wanting to improve their horsepower and mileage on a C6 Corvette.

My Vette has a 6.0l V8. This was my first upgrade. I saw an increase in HP and torque right from the get go. I would suggest this part to any one with a Vette! I have K&N filters on Truck, wife's car and my Harley as well! Ride on!
