Having purchased the replacement filter in 2011, I gave this a shot. The replacement filter gave an immediate increase in air flow and throttle response. But, getting the kit was an even better improvement than I anticipated. This along with a cam, headers and tune netted me 475 rwhp. Way to go!

Gave the car a throaty sound inside the cabin. Throttle response unchanged, mpg slightly improved. But now I've added a borla exhaust, shorty headers, and a new throttle body. Now averaging much better gas mileage. This isn't an amazing modification alone, but as a piece to the puzzle it's amazing, it really adds to the overall performance of the car when combined with other things

I haven't driven my 'Vette long enough to know if my fuel mileage has gotten better but it feels as if the K & N Cold Air Intake System has improved the performance of my car. Surprisingly enough, the K& N filter did not match up with the holes on my stock air box so we had to trim about 1/2 inch off the tube to get it lined up. I am satisfied with this K & N product and would recommend it.

Installation video looks simple, disconnecting the mass air sensor is very difficult. The screws holding the mass air sensor in place on the new unit should have locking star washers with inny burses. Unit looks nice and proves performance.

Had a K&N on my 06 Charger R/T and the sound was night and day from stock. I was expecting that with my new Grand Sport and didn't get it. Maybe the LS3's stock intake is already good enough. Either way, I'm a K&N fan and I do notice some extra rumble between 2K and 3K RPM. Also the Hemi kit had a box around the filter that blocked out some of the engine's heat. The LS3 kit doesn't have that.

Good news.... Everything was in the box as needed... bad news is that all was NOT as easy as it states to install. The LS3 C6 Vette needed some modification for the air system to fit in. This involve cutting the shroud to allow spacing for the air system. However; this mod does allow the air system to effectively bring in cold air and increase the power usage. So with this in mind.. Measure twice.. Cut once.
