Installed this kit onto my 2.7 EcoBoost primarily for fuel economy, and it paid of. A trip from Cypress, TX to central Colorado (2122 miles) yielded an average of 20.5 mpg. This trip included head winds, a fully loaded bed and cab, snow and ice, 4 wheel low, pulling other vehicles out of messes, and an average speed of 70 mph. My best average prior to install was 19.5 on a 300 mile trip that had minimal wind, 2wd only, and 75 mph average. Very pleased.

Really happy with this air intake. I'm no mechanical genius, but the installation was idiot-proof. All clamps and connectors are numbered and referenced in the instructions. Build quality is top notch, as expected, fit is perfect, and it looks great. I can't really tell a difference in performance yet, but I drive my truck pretty easy. It does let you hear the turbos spooling more, which is awesome. It's nothing obnoxious, though. Overall I'm very satisfied and would recommend to anyone.

Delivered on time. Packaged very well. Pre-assembled as much as I could indoors before tackling the installation. Went very a quickly with no hiccups. Maybe a half hour at most. Fits great. Seems to be a modest performance increase. Hard to tell without instrumentation to measure by. Not enough mileage to determine any increase in MPG. Considering an exhaust mod next.

(2016 F-150 XL 2.7L Supercab - 9200 miles at time of install) Easy enough install (maybe 45 minutes). Haven't noticed the amazing power difference some others are talking about, but I didn't put my truck on a dyno before & after either. My MPG testing so far seems to be about 0.5 - 1.5 MPG gained but this could be due to a lot of other factors, as well. The sound difference is good; sort of gives it some throat without being too loud or obnoxious. Overall, it will pay for itself in MPG

The instruction sheet photos were vague at best. The arrow placement on these photos was difficult to envision where the rubber strips were to go. I still don't know if the top rubber is in there correctly. It could have been easier if the strips were pre cut (oh the labor cost of cutting!!).
