No MPG increase, but that wasn't the reason for purchase. Stats say it will give a 13 HP increase, but not sure if I couldn't get the same by cutting out the screen of my stock MAS as both look nearly identical. With a 303 HP engine to start it's impossible tell by the seat of your pants, so only time slips will do that. Very simple install, and mated up with the K&N cold air intake (63) just fine. Too bad their chip didn't work.

This product installs quite easily and in the case of my Impala seemed to invigorate the 3.9L and smarten the transmission somewhat, meaning that it downshifts more readily and remains in a lower gear for a more appropriate interval. It does look suspiciously like a stock MAF unit sans the filter screen and if it is nothing more then shame on Jet for exploiting its customers but assuming the best for the moment I will state that this product has made my car more pleasurable to drive and has not caused an appearance of the CEL. It works wonderfully with the Jet stage2 performance module,CAI and aftermarket exhaust (I have Magnaflow.) The slight increase in fuel efficiency is an added bonus.

There not to much to mod, for performance, on a 09 G6 GT so this was the only extra thing out there besides 1 CIA and 1 exhaust. Seems way over priced for a modified MAS. They just delete the screen and cut off some of the fin as far as I can tell. I'm sure it doesn't hurt but it wont blow your mind. The part, for the price, should have some chrome or something beside a cheap *** sticker.

The mass airflow sensor really compliments the stage one PCM I installed about a month ago. It's hard to guess number-wise what kind of extra power is being made, but the wheelspin on a full throttle launch is much greater than it was before, and that's on dry pavement with Z rated Nitto's installed. For a V6 powered, 4 speed slushbox, this boat now runs to 60 in 7 seconds flat. Too bad Jet doesn't make a 6 speed swapout. Still, I have no regrets ordering the part. The installation took less than 15 minutes and did deliver a noticeable increase in hp.

Car is equipped with Jet Power chip, and a modified cold air intake. The addition of the MAF sensor gives crisper throttle response, enhanced midrange and full throttle acceleration. Contrary to other reviews, do not use stock screen, better performance, and 3-5 mpg without the screen. Have had no fault or lean running trouble codes, works flawlessly with the Jet chip package
