I'm not very handy when it comes to car stuff, but my best friend is. This was supposed to be a nearly idiot proof, bolt-on install. It wasn't. Parts had to be swapped and hoses & lines had to be bent. If you aren't good at this stuff, don't do it yourself. I REALLY like this mod! It helps the car breathe easy in the midrange/passing RPM's. A noticeable improvement, right where this car needs it most. It is a bit loud under hard acceleration, but it's a cool sound.

Great sound, great look, easy to install, and the price is not that bad..... It is most deff worth getting.... The package comes with every thing you need; stickers, clamps, hoses.... If you are thinking of purchising a short ram intake, go with AEM!

Great purchase! Very easy to install took about an hour. Love the sound the intake makes when the car gets above 4000 RPM's. Haven't determined if it has helped the MPG's yet BUT I have noticed a difference with my cars horse power! Overall I love this intake and I will definately continue to make purchases for my car from Autoanything! Nancy H. Delaware

The only change I would do as the designer, is to invert the eyelet on the bracket support for the model for the 2001 Honda Accord 4 Cylinder. Instead the opening of the eyelet to be on the upper portion to invert it, so the end of the eyelet provide support for the vibration. On my case, what I did was to lift the entire intake tube that I believe it probably touches the hood. All of the above, was done to avoid, as per the instructions, the friction between the intake tube and the AC tubing right under it. Other than this, intake is awesome and easy to install.
