Very basic install, took literally minutes to install. It's just a heat shield and cone air intake but it is bolt on and good quality. This website had the best price I could find online. The intake temps are similar to OEM and intake noise has increased but not in a negative way.

Really adds new oomph to my 4.6L engine. Definitely a good value. I drive a lot on express ways and every little bit helps when you need to move quickly. When I punch it, I'm rewarded with a nice growl rather than the old sucking sound of the restrictive original equipment air box.

Put this intake on and it was a little loud as with all intakes at first, once the ECU adjusted to the new intake it's quiet until you stomp on it, then a throaty growl flows out the front end, it's also helped my fuel economy as well, I'm filling up at the pump a little less often. Great product bolts right on without any modification and it's well constructed as well as keeping a stock like appearance.

Installation was a piece of cake! The sound increase at first was a little dissapointing but the filter broke in and my 1996 Crown Vic sounds awesome. Also when driving conservativly I had an increase from 23 mpg and less, to 24.57 mpg mixed driving which is great!
