Installed on my '04 Matrix in about 20 minutes or so. The increase in power was immediate and significant. The Only flaw I can see is that the intake tube should be longer to get the actual intake port further from the engine the way Injen designed theirs, but since the Injen is not CA legal, I think this was the best I could get. The whole unit is top quality, fit perfectly, and I love the dry filter option because I live in the severely dusty desert. Honestly, I couldn't be happier.

It took my buddy and I way longer to install the intake than we had previously assumed. But that was only because of some rusted screws. Once we got it all hooked up the sound is noticeably different, especially when the engine is around 2500 rpm's or higher. The best results I am getting is when I am driving on the highway at already higher speeds. But the only drawback is that I think I lost some quickness when accelerating from a standstill. But overall it sounds great and makes the car run so much smoother.

Let`s tal about cold air intake.although I am not very good with tools, I could install the intake system, practically anyone knows q use a wrench and a screwdriver can install it. but if you really want power in, this ism`t enough. you will need at less a catback exhaust sistem, improve the electric system, some spark plugs.
