I ordered gun metal grey tube, I received black. The hardware for the MAF is poor quality. The screws stripped inside plastic tube when installing MAF, allowing a gap between MAF, tube, and gasket. When I started my truck, the check engine light came on. I had to unhook the negative terminal on the battery for 15 minutes and zip-tie the MAF tight against the tube. Restarted, CEL was off, hasn't come on since. But once the computer completes the drive cycle, it may come back on...

The aFe intake is no better than my previous K&N, except for the dry filter. Even though I'll loose a little performance, I'm tired of the over or under oiling of the K&N filter, so it's a wash. But, on the other hand, the K&N is a good filter, so that means the aFe is good too.

Pretty easy to install, but had to drill one additional hole in baffle for easier fit. This intake is very loud, even compared to other similar ones. There is a harmonic at full throttle/4000 rpm that has to be over 90db in the cab. Try a fully enclosed system if you're sensitive to the noise.
