The AFE intake looked great out of the box and it looks great now in the engine compartment. When you step on the gas it really roars to life and gives me goosebumps. I don't even own an aftermarket exhaust... yet. Only had one hiccup in the whole installation process. For my Tundra I have to pull out the MAF sensor and obviously place it in the intake tube. Well the mount was backwards and after initial installation the motor wouldn't stay on. It took me awhile to figure out the MAF sensor was turned around and not catching any air. Make sure your sensors whole is facing the filter. Other than that and the throttle body space that I purchased with the kit, the installation was great and the end result sounded even better. I have even gained 1mpg since my installation over a week ago. And thats on short, in city trips.

This product accompanies Maganflow's wide open dual exhaust system and JET power mass air flow sensor. Installing the kit was not hard at all. Very basic bolt on. However, when i was done installing and needed to plug my mass air flow sensor back in, the pre-drilled holes on the intake tube were backwards. When you install the sensor in that direction, the air reader is pointing towards the engine and not the filter. Which caused my truck to die! Finally i figured it out and turned the sensor around. My truck fired right up. I contacted Autoanything.com & AFE and told them about this issue. They have resolved this issue and are shipping me a new tube. The performance in the intake is great! I am very satisfied with HP gains. It jumps off the line and the mid range HP has increased. I have also seen an increase in gas mileage.

Ok, the instructions could be a little better written, and a bit clearer about where the spacer goes. After install (glad I keep extra screws on hand)I did not think much of the outcome at the lower end. After a 575 mile trip the computer re-adjusted itself and I am very happy with both low end and upper RPM's.When you get on it while passing, the vehicle you are passing knows you are coming! A bit on the loud side, but what the ---- the added HP is nice. I can not speak of any better MPG yet. Still breaking in the engine so I'll hope I get a little better and enjoy it either way!
