Expected/hoped I would hear the turbo a bit more with this intake setup, but was barely any difference. I've went thru a couple tannks of gas and have noticed no improvement in gas mileage. I personally think a high flow air cleaner in the stock airbox would be much cheaper with the same end result. Just my opinion...

I was surprised that the cold air intake kit did NOT come with enough hardware to mount the new elbow to the stock lower housing. Also the elbow/upper housing did NOT fit as well as expected. With only a slight increase in noise the kit is acceptable. However I have yet to notice much of an increase in mileage as hoped.

only real problem with the intake its self is the screws that mount to the stock air box are easily stripped with little pressure.. Now my main issue is comes with the way your intake was worded I was under the impression that I was purchasing a stage 2 cold air intake because of the way it was worded in the in the listing, and was very disappointed after receiving product. but that's my fault for not reading close enough, just some feedback..

Adds noticeable power gains and a slight increase in mpg. In my 2013 Passat tdi I'm seeing 48 mpg in mixed driving by just driving it as I normally would. I also have the dpf back ss afe pipe that deletd the muffler. The engine seems slightly louder, in a good way.
