Bought the cold air intake for my 3.2L Jeep Cherokee. Any throttle pressure reminds me of the sound from the 70's and 80's when we would flip the lip to our round carbarator air cleaners upside down to get more air to the engine. Not a bad sound but louder than stock. Can't really see an increase in MPG but the jury is still out since we are not have near 100 degree temps and the mileage often suffers when it is super hot.

Easy installation. Little bit better pickup. I put on an after market resonator a few days before and I do notice a difference in the sound too, gave it more of a growl. Also get 2 more mpg. I read other reviews that said the same thing about mileage and I thought it was bull. I bought for sound and performance. 2 extra miles per gallon this thing will pay for itself in no time.

This air intake system tube is made out of metal which retains heat to some extent. Insulated the inside with about four coats of undercoating. Now I'll insulate the outside with the same undercoating. Should have stayed with the factory air box and changed the filter to a high flow one. Now I'll configure an a two side enclosure to totally enclose the area. Could have saved some money.

This air intake was easy to install and sounds great with a great boost . The engine runs smoother and easier with an increase in MPG. If you can turn a screwdriver you can do this yourself. I ordered the dry option you can order the oiled filter also. Order the Pre filter for the filter about $25 a perfect fit.
