I wasn't looking forward to taking the front bumper off to install, but it wasn't as bad as I expected. It did provide a slight increase in horsepower which gave it better takeoff from the line. And, it has improved fuel mileage some. But, the most noticeable difference is the sound. It gave it a much more aggressive sound from the exhaust.

I did not get the black curvy intake. It made my Accent engines a lot more noticeable and that's been the only modification. Got a lot less miles per gallon but that's from a heavy foot. Testing to see where I can get optimal mileage now that power test is done. You will have to remove the bumper so heads up. Other than that pretty easy install.

Only annoying thing about the installation was taking off the bumper but it was easy to figure it out. The CAI made the car sound AWESOME. Deep sound usually from 2nd gear and up. This product was worth every penny.

Everything went well only having to take off the front end takes the longest and probably shouldn't be done alone but with some help. It gets awkward.

Even though it is listed as veloster or accent they all have the same engine and mounting points. Fit perfect and very easy. The sound is great and performance upgrade is better than i thought it would be. I recently traded my car in and purchased two rios for style and mpg's. Best upgrade and most performance from only an intake. Also took off ten additional pounds of weight from stock plastic waste of space. Do yourself a favor and buy this for your car , and from autoanything. It is the cheapest price out there. Get the cai and hydro shield comes free

This Injen CAI is fabulous. While I don't see why alot of these CAI kits are $200 for a piece of metal tubing and a filter, this kit was far cheaper on this site then any other. I notice a increase in performance mainly when passing other cars. My Veloster also sounds nicer, you can hear it now, doesn't sound like a golf cart anymore. I recommend on my car forums to fellow members. Shipping was also very fast!
