Didn't know what to expect when I purchased this intake. Not much info online about it for the 1.8t, but I really like it. Gives a nice sound to the engine. Bit lower rumble down low and you can really hear the swooshing intake sound on throttle and the pronounced blowoff of the wastegate. Sounds great. Very easy to install, wish the rubber molding on the heat shield case preonstalled. Difficult to get it to form right.

Extremely easy installation with pictures -- one tip, just pull straight up on your stock air box to release it from a rubber grommet you can't see. The sound is great, exactly what I was hoping for and why I bought the product. You get the woosh of air when the turbo spools and crisp blow-off valve sound, but it's subtle when you're driving normally with the windows up, music on, etc. The only thing I don't like is that the water guard is sold separately... if it's needed it should be standard

This was a fairly easy install, as it only took maybe 30 minutes to do. The intake isn't that loud and is silent at cruise. During startup you can hear the secondary air injection louder and until it turns off the engine has a farm engine quality to it. Fortunately, this only lasts for about 5 seconds. When you go deep into boost and let off the throttle, the DV can be heard. I am not too interested in that sound, but it's inaudible under sedate cruising and shifting.

I decided to try thisnuntake because it is half the price of the APR intake. Quick and easy install, 10mins. Overall I am not impressed. I can hear a little more noise from the engine, turbo spool, diverter blow off. But no gains in performance or mpg. I think ive actually lost hp. I left the injen on for 600 miles to see if the ecu had to reconfigure. Im still not pleased with this snake oil intake.

This is a great intake. The price, look and sound are the best. Now my car can breathe better. I haven't really noticed any fuel increases but I haven't had any fuel decreases either. I felt I had more acceleration and less lag.

This took me about 30 minutes to install. It probably would have been less if I didn't do it at dusk. I feel a little more power in the top end. I also get a little turbo "whoosh" sound when shifting. It's subtle. You notice it if you listen for it. This is perfect for me. I don't want a loud car.

So I ordered the Injen Intake system cause it was the least expensive on available for my car on the market. Well I was beyond happily surprised. The price was great, the customer service was great, and the item, looks, sounds, and performs amazing.
