Fitting took just under 2 hours. As soon as you start the engine you can hear a lower note and at around 2000rpm the engine now comes alive. The difference in torque in the low end is noticeable and for the price this is a must have first mod. Next will be the BBk throttle body which will give even more gain!

Bought this unit for my son, we installed together, took about 30 minutes after watching a YouTube video. Very easy to install. I was surprised how it affected the sound of the V6 engine, much better growl under the hood. Throttle response was much improved. Engine breaths better for sure, great product, would recommend.

I liked this product cause isreally nice for your ford Mustang, the sound after the installation is awesome, looks like very impressive for viewers. It was an easy installation, really good the transit time since they shipped until the delivery home. Really good price in compare other sites, Autoanything has very good customer service representatives.

I Have a 2014 Mustang. The Instructions which are straight forward, don't tell you how tight everything really is. Due to the lack of space I now have a filter with a big chunk missing because it was pressing up against the frame. And after about a week it started to rattle under the hood so I had to modify the parts to not touch metal on metal. Looks nice but not the right kit for someone who cannot troubleshoot on their own

I was actually holding out for the Steeda CAI, but $400 is a lot to ask for in what can be arguably similar. When AutoAnything ran a 20% sale, it was a no-brainer. For just over $200, my 2012 Mustang V6 sounds like a monster! BBK claims there is an increase in MPG but I don't see how. It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep your foot out of it to hear that awesome growl! :) Great purchase, and well worth it, IMHO.

Pros: looks nice, not too hard to install, sounds GREAT! Cons: Bracket does not fit bolt pattern so good, item was packaged so that parts were loose and banging into each other. Chrome seems to be OK but the bracket got scuffed up pretty good and would need a coat of paint in order to look like the new item it is. Also think black would look better on this car. I will have to put the old one back on long enough for the smog check in 4 more years.

I have used cold air intake systems on other vehicles with great success for both power and effciency. The BBK system is extremely well made. With a gulp of air, the Mustang 3.7 V6 really starts showing its horsepower. The only criticism I have of the BBK kit was the printed instructions. The pictures are so dark that the paper is a crime against trees. BBK does offer great instructions online with video and PDF. They could put something better in the box.
