The intake was fairly easy to install. However the fitting to the throttle body was very tight even without the O ring. I had to wet sand the throttle body and the air intake adaptor to make it fit. The air temp sensor was also difficult to fit with the grommet supplied. It needs a grommet with a larger center hole. I have now run a full tank of gas and have seen no MPG improvement nor do I feel any performance increase. However I like its looks under the hood and the filter will last forever.

This thing has brought my 4.3 to life! It's a great buy!! It gives it more power and makes it sound deeper as well. The Spectre brand is much cheaper but defiantly got the same results!

i had to trim the heat shield to fit the curved fender area and to fit the air temp sensor in the plastic tube kept pushin the rubber grommit in understanding its a tight fit still not easy also the air filter seems to be rub on the bottom of the fender area hard to fit without it rubbing but overall i like the look and sound when hittin the go pedal

i do not know a whole lot about cars, i followed the instructions and got it installed fairly easy, the only probloms i ran into was the heat shield not fitting right..but other then that i felt the power increas for sure, sounds great...no increase in MPG mostly because i cant keep my foot off the floor...way to much fun..best addition to my blazer yet!!!

I have a 4.3 liter 02 Chevy Blazer. This product did everything i expected. I'm not a mechanic and it was easy to install. Not sure if it helped the mileage because i haven't been keeping track. Has a cool muscle car like rumble around 2500 rpms. Definitely helped with the acceleration; it made it smooth and effortless. Can't wait to order a muffler from autoanything to complete the sound portion of my vehicle. I say autoanything because they were great about delivering and customer service. The product came without the rubber piece that goes around the o2 sensor and autoanything took care of it by calling spectre for me! Spectre shipped the part right out. No hassle and great customer service. I will do all my future car parts shopping through autoanything.

I bought the Spectre intake to replace the OEM intake that was damaged in a wreck. The instructions are clearly worded and are easy to understand. The pictures in the printed instructions were a little dark and hard to see, but I found the PDF file for the instructions on the Spectre web site. I was able to see the pictures much better viewing the PDF file on my computer. Spectre might want to consider including a CD with the installation PDF file(s) with their products. Other than that, installation was easy even for a non "gear-head" like myself. I would recommend this product as it is a good value.

Looks and sounds good. Good for the price. Had some trouble getting the sensor through the rubber inlet. Very noticable HP gain. Haven't noticed any major mpg increase.
