I've had this installed for a couple weeks now, and as soon as I drove my truck afterwards I noticed a difference. Better throttle response, more power, my truck has really opened up now. As far as gas mileage I'm not sure, since I installed this with the Spectre Throttle Body Spacer as well, though it definitely didn't make it worse. Truck also shifts more smoothly, especially on the highway, gives the truck a nice growl. Installation took me maybe an hour, anyone can do it.

The order arrived on time and as usual I misplaced the directions, but I found them on Spectre's web site. Within minutes the old system was off and and new system was on and funtioning. The appearance is clean and performance is funtional. I was a little skeptical about the "cold Air" box, but after installing it, it does indeed isolate the intake air from the engine bay. It also sound terrific when you roll into the throttle. The system eliminated alot of the underhood clutter which is typically offered by GM

Got the spectre cold air intake and noticed louder sound coming from my flowmaster and notice more power when I take off and rpm go higher . The passing gear is a growling monster. Engine light came on, so in the process of changing the MAF. Besides that it was a good buy. Haven't seen any gas mileage changes yet.
