Just recently had this installed. The truck sounds awsome with a Flowmaster exhaust and is definitely a louder intake but if your a truck guy you won't mind that. Overall very satisfied so far

I received my Spectre cold air intake in the box installed it right away with in a half hour my truck was off the chain running like a RAPED APE!! I have a V/8 so it sounded so awesome I immediately felt the extra horse power and because I drive my truck all day so I see the extra 60 miles to a tank full. All I can say is GET ONE!!!!!!

GOOD, but could be better

Overall the intake seems to be good quality. Installation was very easy. The mounting bracket attached to the intake near the filter does not support the intake very well. The heat shield's purpose, while rubber gaskets are provided to go between the shield and the hood, is negated by the large hole left by the 'U' shaped cutout, which allows the intake to pass through the heat shield. I'd like to see a diverter to direct the incoming air towards the filter.
